"I like the new digs." declared Vega as he strutted towards the cockpit with his Captain Ashley Williams in toe.  "So you've said Vega." she replied exhaustedly. "I mean, you've got to serve on the SR-1, 2 and 3." said Colonel Vega. "Now that just makes me feel old." she responded. "Maybe that's because you are?" "I'm only three years older than you. Anyway speaking of old how is it going Joker." "All good EDI's all set up and we should be good to go." said the Flight Lieutenant. "That is correct Captain we are ready for departure." said EDI as her rebuilt chrome metal body sat beside Joker. "Vega go check what Coats and Riley are up to." requested Ashley. "No problemo." Vega went down to engineering where Major Lee Riley was and told her that she was needed up stairs. He then went to the armoury and told Coats the same thing. The four arrived at the CIC where they were briefed by Hackett via vid-com. "Everyone settling in well. Good. Our sources say there is a slave camp covering as a mining facility in the Terminus system. Your job is to infiltrate that site, grab any intel you can, free the slaves and come out alive understood?" "Yes, sir. Suit up everyone." ordered Spectre Williams. Vega put on his silver and blue N7 defender armour, Coats got into his black armour with a green strip down the side, Riley wore her orange armour and Ashley wore her blue and gold spectre armour all which were manufactured by Shepard Enterprises.

"So who runs this place?" queried Coats. "Not sure." replied Ashley as she stepped into the Kodiak. "Everyone good to go?" asked Steve Cortez. The Kodiak passed through landed just outside the mining facility. The four veterans departed and Cortez left. The factory was standing at about one hundred feet tall. Ashley looked to the top through her sniper rifle. She saw a man decked in all black armour on the roof and he dropped into the building through a broken window. "C'mon hurry." she said. The four of them breached and cleared the main entrance and some other rooms. They were all empty. They entered a massive room and there they saw the man. Vega raised his gun at him. "Where are the slaves?" asked Vega. "Gone. Wilson must have had them moved." The man walked past them and towards. Coats stopped him "Who's Wilson and what did he  do with the slaves?"  The man looked at the group and then away again. "The Alliance just had to get involved. This was the day I was going to catch him." his voice was muffled through his helmet. "Who?" asked Riley impatiently. "Charles Wilson, the biggest slaver in the galaxy and CEO of Kassa Fabrication." "Who are you?" "John Smith. Bounty Hunter. Avenger. Safeguard. Guardian." replied the man. "I work for the Shadow Broker." "Maybe you could tell Li- I mean the Shadow Broker to keep out of Alliance business." said Ashley. "The only reason you know about Wilson is through the Broker. So show some respect." said Smith before leaving. "Cortez come pick us up and get Hackett on the line." Ashley was back on the ship and speaking with Hackett. "There were no slaves only a shadow broker agent." muttered Ashley angrily. "Well that's to be expected the Broker got us the information. But Wilson needs to be brought to justice he is the biggest terrorist in the galaxy."

Meanwhile on board the Shadow Broker's mobile base. Smith enters the command centre. Feron is working on his computer. "So what happened down there?" asked Feron. "It was a no show, only a bunch of N7 war veterans." he said while taking off his helmet. "So We know Wilson was in London last week during the Remberance Day celebrations and we haven't seen him on Illium, Omega or anywhere else since." said Feron almost whispering to himself. "I'm going to send you to Omega for some reconnaissance." Smith left and Feron stared at his screens. Smith arrived in Omega a day later. He searched the whole station in two days. No sign of Wilson but his group of mercenary bandits were there. Smith reached a perfect vantage point, his black armour giving him perfect protection in case he was spotted. Three shots rang out in quick succession. Three dead mercenaries. After a quick drink in After Life he left and reported back to Feron.
